Youth - Focused
Capacity Building Sessions

Do you have a young adult in your life that has recently finished school?
Perhaps you know a young person who is looking for part-time work and starting to think about what's next when they finish school?
My sessions are a part of a personalised one-on-one program designed to support neurodiverse young people with transition from school support. Each session is co-designed with the participant, focusing on building skills to help achieve specific goals.
The support can cover a variety of topics (see Session Focus Areas) and is delivered through a strengths-based, neuro-affirming approach that is also informed by trauma-sensitive practices.
Sessions are currently available for funding through NDIS participant plans (Core and Capacity Building) as well as fee for service/ community partnerships.

Individual Skills Development
I currently provide one-on-one support work sessions to younger children within the NDIS. These sessions aim to foster independence and build on social skills, emotional regulation and health and wellbeing. I have experience supporting children with the following diagnoses:
- Down Syndrome , ASD Level 3, ADHD, PDA, Selective Mutism, Non-verbal, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Impairment, FASD, complex trauma and mental health concerns.
My compassionate, empathic and proactive approach allows for rapport to build quickly with the children I support and their families.
Community
Partnerships
I have capacity and experience in partnering with government departments, NGO's and local council to deliver trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness programs. This has included gender specific (boys and girls separately) and inclusive programs as well as community engagement activities.
Whenever possible, I collaborate with people with lived experience of mental health, neurodiversity and/or young adults with a care experience into supporting the facilitation of community group programs.
In 2024 I worked on a ‘Youth Homelessness Matters’ documentary film project working alongside Studio Luma (a local digital media company I also co-direct), City of Gold Coast and Gold Coast Youth Service. This project aimed to give a voice to young people who have a lived experience of homelessness on the Gold Coast.
